my dream.

i had a dream last night that i thought was worth sharing...

it all started one morning in my house (one that i've never lived in, and where i live with like 3 other girls). i woke up to find about 6 people in my living room that were there for a city-wide prayer meeting that i didn't know about. i went to go take a shower and my friend cassie came to me and told me i needed to come to the prayer meeting, so i went with her.

my dream immediately transported me to a really huge swimming pool- like seriously, this pool had levels, and pools inside of the pool. there were hundreds of people in it. my friend christen was there and her hair had the most beautiful curls ever... and then she dipped it in the water. curls were gone.

then we were in a field and had picnic blankets set out, playing games, hanging out with friends. someone told me to grab their hand so we can make a big circle. i couldn't find my purse, but they wouldn't let me look for it. the circle was so big that i could barely even see the person opposite me. they looked like a tiny dot. we sang for a little while and then the whole field started filling up with water. so all of us were swimming toward something, underwater and everything, and there was this voice that said "find the source". it was like a riddle for us. so i was thinking that maybe the source was a place, maybe it was actually called "the source" but in another language, so i was racking my brain for words in other languages that mean "source". then it was like a lightbulb came on and i realized that the source was Jesus. so i turned around and started swimming the other direction and the water receeded, and there He stood. i ran to Him and threw my arms around him in a big bear hug. then i had a mug in my hands and whatever was in it was an offering, so i raised it and gave it up to God as my offering.

and that was my dream. i remember much more details than that, but i didn't want to bore you. :) i think it's my favorite dream ever.
