emily and i are all moved in to our new apartment! last night i intalled our make-shift pantry. i feel really accomplished. i had to go out and buy drill bits, but apparently i did not read enough of the instructions. i needed a 3/8 bit and the biggest i had was a 3/16 (that's half the size for all you non-math people :)). so i used the biggest i had and created a bigger hole. and when i was done, it was still level! i'm so good. and here's the finished product!...
this past weekend christen and i went to liberty for homecoming. it was so much fun! we got to see several old friends and some family. and we stayed on our sisters' dorm the last night. i forgot how awful dorm life is! i loved it then, but there's no way i could survive it at my old age.
my sisters and me...
old friends!
in the last month, i have successfully spent at least 4 times my clothing budget. i seriously need to not ever go into another store again for at least a month. i used to be really picky with clothes and would go into a store and not buy anything... i'd go weeks! then i would go through little stages where i'd buy everything i liked, but only spend my budget. umm, i've been in that stage for the last 4 months, and unfortunately ran out of budget 3 months ago. it's prolly safe to say that dipping into my savings is not very wise, so it's gotta stop!
i love this song...
And even when the trees have just surrendered
To the harvest time
Forfeiting their leaves in late September
And sending us inside
Still I notice You when change begins
And I am braced for colder winds
I will offer thanks for what has been and was to come
You are autumn
- nichole nordeman, every season
To the harvest time
Forfeiting their leaves in late September
And sending us inside
Still I notice You when change begins
And I am braced for colder winds
I will offer thanks for what has been and was to come
You are autumn
- nichole nordeman, every season
