I Heard the Bells...

I mailed out my very first newsletter this week!  It's called "the journey".  You can view it on my Newsletters page.  If you'd like to automatically receive it every month, send your postal address or email address to me at brandy.ingle@gmail.com.

In other news, I'm going to be an aunt so soon!  The doctors say Lauren could have Carter in just a few short days.  I haven't been this excited about something in a very long time. :)  Get here Carter!  I want to meet you, and hold you, and kiss you, and love on you!

Christmas time is here!  I love it so much.  I've wanted to see NYC at Christmas for a while now.  So I finally did it!  My friend Lisa and I went for a day... we left Atlanta at 6:30 am and (after a very delayed flight back) arrived back home at midnight that night.  This was my favorite picture...

Christmas at The Rock

My other favorite picture that does not look like Christmas, but is still really pretty

And here's a song for you, for Christmas.  It's a rendition of "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" that Casting Crowns did.

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play
And mild and sweet their songs repeat
Of peace on earth good will to men

And the bells are ringing
Like a choir they're singing
In my heart I hear them
Peace on earth, good will to men

And in despair I bowed my head
There is no peace on earth I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men

But the bells are ringing
Like a choir singing
Does anybody hear them?
Peace on earth, good will to men

Then rang the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead, nor doth He sleep
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men

Then ringing singing on its way
The world revolved from night to day
A voice, a chime, a chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good will to men

And the bells they're ringing
Like a choir they're singing
And with our hearts we'll hear them
Peace on earth, good will to men

Do you hear the bells they're ringing?
The life the angels singing
Open up your heart and hear them
Peace on earth, good will to men
